The Colombian Government along with 24 private and public sector organizations, civil society representatives and consumers, have signed ‘A Pact for Legal Timber’. The Pact will enhance forest management and conservation and have a massive impact on the global trade of forest and wood products as Colombia is home to 29% of the world’s forests.
