Sustainability Issues

Description of Our Sustainability Program:

We take our responsibilities to our partners - our local community, coffee growers and their families and communities, our planet - as seriously as our craft. We contribute to the fundraising efforts of local and regional non-profit groups as well as to social, economic and environmental programs in the coffee growing regions through our ongoing support of Grounds for Health, Coffee Kids and the International Women’s Coffee Alliance as well as through our Organic and Fair Trade certifications. By participating in Mass Energy’s New England Greenstart program, 100% of Indigo Coffee’s electricity purchases are from renewable energy sources.
