China Organic Food Certification Center (COFCC), a professional organization responsible for organic food certification and management under the Ministry of Agriculture of P.R. China, is the only one accredited by CNCA in China (CNCA—R—2002—100). COFCC has been registered in the Bureau of Industry and Commerce, and has its own legal personality. In line with organic food certification standard and relevant laws and regulations, COFCC provides organic food certifying and training services to its clients based on the principles of “ Public, Justice and Fairness”. COFCC has functional departments as Department of Certification, Department of Administration, and Department of Development, each with its own apparent responsibilities. In COFCC's management, not only international common practices is adopted, but also the actual situation of China is taken into full consideration. With the successful experience of China Green Food Development Center, all the work is conducted by COFCC independently. COFCC boasts the first class inspectors and experts, who are knowledgeable with the relevant technical principles as well as laws and regulations. Wide cooperative links has been kept with international counterparts. Through dozens of years of work, COFCC has accumulated good experience in inspection, certification and training.
