Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People’s Republic of China (CNCA) is established by the State Council and is authorized by the State Council to excise administractive responsibilities of undertaking unified management, supervision and overall coordination of certification and accreditation activities across the country.  In February 2009 GLOBALGAP announced today the successful completion of the benchmarking of ChinaGAP against the GLOBALGAP Good Agricultural Practice reference code. Dr Kristian Moeller Secretary of GLOBALGAP said: “This is an important milestone in the collaboration of GLOBALGAP with the Peoples Republic of China in promoting Good Agricultural practices which was first established in 2005.
