Overview
FFP is a multi-stakeholder initiative to stimulate the production of sustainable cut flowers and potted plants, to minimize environmental impact of cutflower production on the natural environment and surrounding communities, and to establish good social conditions for workers on flower and plant farms.
Key Features
* Producers must be certified according to two certifications
- environmental and social:
* Environmental certification: carried out by the Milieu Programma Sierteelt at MPS-A or by other comparable standards level. MPS is an international organization that develops and controls labels for the horticultural industry.
