Overview
The Sustainable Agriculture Network is a network of Latin-American conservation groups committed to community-based conservation initiatives and research. SAN develops and implements social and environmental standards applicable to tropical agriculture and forestry products. The certification program for SAN standards is operated by Rainforest Alliance.

* The standards were developed through a collaborative and voluntary process by the SAN member groups, farmers, scientists and advisors from private and public sector.
