Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand provides the framework for companies to continually work towards improving all aspects of their performance in terms of environmental, social and economic sustainability in both the vineyard and the winery.  The New Zealand Winegrowers (NZW) Board agreed within the NZW sustainability policy SWNZ membership criteria will be as follows;

  • Tier 1 and Tier 2 are considered as members of NZ Winegrowers and will have access to the basic SWNZ information.
  • Tier 3 are deemed Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand members and pay a membership fee and work towards accreditation.
